How To Stay Connected To God Amidst A Pandemic

Right now we need God more than ever.

In this time, it's really easy to lose faith. Which makes it all the more important that we don't lose our relationship with God. Since churches have closed, a lot of people have had no where to go when they were feeling hopeless and alone. Faith For Girls By Girls wants to make sure you know that you're never alone, so we created a list of things you can do to stay connected to God in a safe way.

1) Watch an online church service - this is the best way to make it feel like you're going to church, without risking your health
2) Join a bible study - this is a great way to be a part of a community, while helping each other have a deeper understanding of God's word (it can be virtual, or you can meet up with a small group while wearing masks and socially distancing)
3) Join a Christian club - this is another great way to be a part of a community (again virtual, or masked and distanced)
4) Follow Christian social media accounts - it's a really great thing to have God's word sewn into your everyday routine, scrolling through your Instagram or Facebook feed to see an uplifting Bible verse can be very refreshing, and you never know when you'll need it
5) Read Christian books - reading what Christian authors have to say can deepen your understanding of God's word
6) Do community service with a Christian group - helping those around you through God can be a great way to see how He has changed other's lives, see how he has changed your life, and connect others with Him

These are just a few ways that you can stay connected to God, and stay safe at the same time. The safer we are, the sooner that this nightmare will be over, and churches can open again. But we encourage you to continue to participate in these activities even after the pandemic is over, deepening your relationship with Jesus will only benefit you.

We hope you enjoyed this special post, our cross referencing series will continue as usual next week!
